Special COVID-19 statement
Now and always, the health and safety of our clients' families as well as our own remains our top priority. In the interest of ensuring that we maintain a safe environment for everyone who visits our studio, we appreciate everyone’s thoughtful consideration.
Our precautionary measures:
• Disinfecting all door handles, elevator buttons and surfaces at our studio before and after each session.
• Mask and gloves available for our photographer to wear for added safety
• Hand sanitizers in building lobby and studio
• Limiting our studio to four sessions per week.
• We ask all clients to thoroughly wash their hands and remove their shoes before entering the studio
We are a custom photography studio that serves clients by appointment only, and are staffed by a single photographer. At present time, we remain open and committed to fulfilling our clients’ sessions, while maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Rescheduling requests are granted for sessions scheduled between March 10 - March 31, 2020 if:
• You or anyone in your family has a fever, persistent cough, or generally feeling unwell
• Your physician has advised you not to leave your home

We are personally avoiding public transportation, shopping centers, and social gatherings to avoid exposure. We have elderly family members, so this matter is of utmost importance to us. We strongly encourage our clients to do the same. Please stay healthy and try to minimize stress whenever possible. If we all make a concerted effort, we can get through these challenging times together.

We also have a collection of natural blankets, knit wraps and coordinating accessories for newborn photo shoots. Your private photo gallery of beautifully edited portraits will be ready within two weeks of your session. Besides the high-resolution digital files included with your session, we specialize in designing elegant and timeless decor. You’re welcome to provide us with snapshots of your wall space, so we can design a custom display for your home. We offer a lovely selection of fine art prints, gallery wraps, floating metal art, and keepsake albums for a spectacular presentation of your most special memories. Your portrait session is only the start of creating your custom artwork. Following your session, we spend an extensive amount of time curating and post-processing the best images to showcase in your gallery.
Within one week of your session, you will receive a link to your private proofing gallery to select your favorite images for editing. We carefully curate the images from your session to share the best ones based on lighting, background, focus, pose, facial expressions, and overall appeal. Once you've finalized your selections, we will artistically edit each image in color and black & white. Please understand that we do not release raw files, since they are not a finished product. You are always welcome to purchase additional edited digital portraits.
We want you to treasure your final portraits. As you’ll see in our Before & After Gallery, each image is tastefully edited into a unique work of art. For every minute we spend together, we spend hundreds more behind the scenes to make your final photos and overall experience truly exceptional.

Custom designed exclusively for glow portraits®, these paginated works of art are unlike any other. Finishing touches of the highest quality ensure that your albums will stand the test of time. We photograph fully clothed maternity photos, as well as tastefully implied nudes. Many clients like to capture a combination of both, so you’ll have intimate portraits for your bedroom and more conservative silhouettes for the nursery. Our wide assortment of wardrobe options and silk fabrics allows you the freedom to select the styles that best suit your personal desires. Your comfort during the photo shoot is always our priority.

At glow portraits®, we are especially honored to capture the special memories of your precious baby. We love to capture the sweet expressions, tiny details, and tender emotions of this magical time in your lives with artistic portraits. Newborn photo sessions are offered at our cozy New York City studio, or in the comfort of your home. These portraits are best captured in the first two weeks after birth, while your infant is sleeping deeply and curling up naturally into those sweet womb-like poses. To ensure availability, our clients may book a Newborn Retainer, with the balance of the session due once your baby has been born. We've been photographing newborn babies for over a decade, and we have the patience and expertise needed to safely pose and photograph your little bundle of joy. With years of experience in handling and soothing newborns, the session experience is relaxed and comfortable for new parents. Our photos showcase the sweet angelic features, adorable facial expressions, and tiny nuances of your little one. We'll use natural blankets, wraps and accessories to capture artistic newborn portraits. We'll also capture some intimate family portraits to celebrate your new addition. There is nothing more wonderful than preserving the loving bond between brand new parents and their newborn baby as beautiful works of art. RELAXED & ENJOYABLE

Newborn photography is a very delicate art, requiring years of practice and expert skills in safely posing and handling newborns. That’s why we’ve been doing this for over ten years, and that’s why more New York City parents trust us than anyone else. Our blankets are sanitized after every use, and our studio is swept daily to ensure a safe, hygienic environment for your infant. The low-power flash we use offers an extremely fast duration of just 1/63,000 of a second, ensuring that nothing disturbs your sleeping baby. Newborn Photo Sessions generally last around two hours, allowing plenty of time for diaper changes and feedings to keep your little one in a calm and happy mood.
