Newborn Sessions
As portrait photographers, we understand the importance of capturing these special memories for your family. Newborns are only tiny for a short period of time, and there’s nothing sweeter than sleepy curled-up poses reminiscent of their time in the womb. We strive to preserve the tender emotions and fleeting moments of this early stage in your baby’s life as timeless works of art. Newborn sessions are offered in the studio or comfort of your home, depending on your preferred package. There is no bigger honor as an artist than preserving life’s most cherished memories.

NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER
Victoria has been passionate about photography her entire life. For the past 9 years, she has dedicated herself to the art of newborn portraiture, which allows her to capture families at the happiest time in their lives. She strives to capture all of the precious details and tender emotions during each photoshoot. Specially trained in newborn posing and soothing techniques, she ensures that new parents feel comfortable and relaxed during photoshoots. Her gentle approach ensures that each little one is handled with the utmost safety and care. Above all, she is deeply honored to be part of such an intimate experience, creating lasting memories that families will treasure for years to come.
SCHEDULING
Newborn portraits are captured in the first month, but ideally within the first 5-14 days while your baby is sleeping deeply and curling up naturally into those sweet womb-like poses. We offer a limited number of photoshoots each month to ensure our high quality of work. We require a retainer to reserve availability around your due date, and the balance will be due when we schedule your appointment once baby arrive. We'll take into consideration your newborn's birthday, birth weight, jaundice, and any other health concerns to determine the best timing. As portrait photographers, we understand the importance of capturing this precious stage of life for your family.

BLANKERTS, WRAPS
& accessories
We offer access to our blankets, wraps, swaddles, and coordinating accessories for newborn sessions. Most of the items have been handmade by talented designers who put effort into ensuring the item is perfect for your newborn’s portraits. You can view samples featured in the Portfolio. Babies photograph best when naked or wrapped in soft fabrics. Our posing workflow allows us to transition smoothly and avoid disturbing baby from their deep sleep. Please let us know in advance if you'd like to incorporate a favorite outfit, heirloom or prop.

WHAT TO BRING
We understand that mamas are exhausted in the first weeks after giving birth. Our studio is set up so you can have a well deserved break. We’ll photograph baby right in front of you, while you get to relax and fully enjoy the beauty of your little miracle.
Please bring your diaper bag and anything else helpful to spend a few hours away from home. A cozy blanket and extra bottle of breast milk or formula will be helpful for any fussy points during the session.

Our modern boutique photography studio allows us to offer a comfortable session experience, while delivering portraits of the highest quality. We use a combination of classic backdrops and artistic lighting to make your vision into a reality. Snacks and drinks are provided during your shoot. There is a reception area and fully stocked changing table available for your convenience. We encourage you to relax and make yourselves comfortable!
PARKING
We recommend planning your commute in advance and checking traffic conditions beforehand to arrive punctually for your shoot.

HOME
We understand that it's challenging to travel in the first weeks after baby arrives. Our Signature and Luxe Newborn Sessions are offered in your home. We'll bring along studio lighting, space heater, blankets, knit wraps and accessories to set up a "studio" in your bedroom. We can use a bare wall (6-feet wide) as a seamless backdrop for family portraits, and incorporate meaningful settings within your home for added variety.
what to wear
We’re always happy to capture some intimate family portraits to celebrate your new addition. We recommend wearing whites, creams, and neutral tones. Simple outfits without a busy pattern or logo are ideal. Classic never goes out of style. Moms can wear anything from a simple camisole to a cozy sweater to a maxi dress. Whatever feels comfortable! Natural, nude or French tip manicure are ideal for timeless portraits. It’s all in the details. We’ll photograph mostly from the waist up and use flattering angles to make sure you all look your best.
your digital portraits
All of our Portrait Sessions include a select number of artistically edited images in high resolution. These digital portraits are yours to download, share and print to your heart's content. As professional portrait photographers, we take great pride in our craft. We do not release RAW unedited images, since they are not a finished product. All unselected images will be deleted. If you'd like to purchase any additional portraits for your final gallery, please note the fees below.

EDITING
Your portrait session is only the beginning of creating your custom artwork. We want you to treasure your final portraits. Within a week of your session, we'll share an online proofing gallery for your review. Once you've selected your favorites, we will hand edit each image in our signature style for your portrait gallery. Please understand that RAW unedited images are not at all a finished product, so they may not be downloaded or shared anywhere.
Once you've made your selections, we will edit each of these images in our natural style for your portrait gallery. As you’ll see in our Before & After Portfolio, each image is carefully and tastefully edited into a unique work of art. Within two weeks of your session, you'll be receiving a link to your private gallery of beautifully edited newborn portraits to download in high resolution and make your print order selections.
